Extensions

All extension services require a consultation.
Pricing is varied and based on consultation.

Extension Stylists are all certified in one or more of our methods.

Tape-in extensions: These are 2 inch wefts lined with medical grade adhesive. 2 pieces will sandwich your natural hair and stick together. When it’s time to remove, a solution is applied to break down the bond so your stylist is able to remove the extensions. Your hair will be shampooed well and blown dry. Meanwhile, your stylist will apply fresh adhesive to the wefts and reinstall the extensions. Tape-in extensions can last 4-8 weeks before needing to be re-applied. Extension hair can be reused for up to 1 year. ( Jenny, Meagan, Michele, Nicole, Rebecca)

I-tip extensions: These hair extensions are applied using a silicone lined metal cylinder. A small section of your natural hair gets pulled through the cylinder, then a small section of hair extension is added in. When the cylinder is clamped closed the extensions remain adhered for about 2 months. When it’s time to reinstall the extensions, the cylinders are re-opened, shedding hair is removed, and the extensions are moved up and re-clamped closed. Hair can be reused for about 6 months. (Jenny)

K-tip extensions: aka Keratin protein tips or fusion, are individual extensions applied to the natural hair using a hot fusion technique. They are tipped with keratin which helps protect your strands from damage. With proper care these can last up to 6 months. When it’s time to remove the extensions, a solution is applied to the bond causing it to break down. The extension hair can be thrown out and order new hair OR can be re-tipped for a fee. ( Jenny, Nicole)

Weft extensions: Beaded weft hair extensions are created with real human hair which is sewn (either by hand or by machine) on to a horizontal strip, or “weft.” The weft is then attached to natural hair by sewing. The result is a seamless look that can blend well with your existing hair. Once the weft hair extensions are in place, they can last up to a year before being taken out. Although, depending on how quickly your hair grows, the extensions will need to be moved up every 6-8 weeks. (Jenny, Nicole)
